"My time volunteering with Manos Unidas International was the experience of a lifetime. The children and families that I had the opportunity to work with will forever leave imprints on my heart. The people of Peru are so friendly and welcome all with open arms, and I learned so much from working with school staff and families. I felt much more immersed in the culture than I would have during a typical travel or volunteer experience. Celeste is so knowledgeable and passionate about her work it is contagious. I also had the opportunity to work with an incredible interprofessional team. We learned so much from each other, and shared so many laughs and memories that will last a lifetime. I cannot recommend this volunteer experience enough!"
