Ayllu Hogar (aye-yu) supports Latino families in North King County with children ages 0-5 who have disabilities or developmental concerns. Our home-based service navigation helps families access early support, special education transitions, health services, and essential community resources.
The program is open to ALL children with a disability as identified by IDEA, AND any child demonstrating developmental delay. This program offers is intensive autism support, including screenings, referrals, and post-diagnosis guidance on health navigation, DDA applications, disability education, and therapy connections.
A key part of Ayllu Hogar is building community and reducing isolation. Café de Madres, our monthly gathering for caregivers, provides a space to connect over chocolate, café and tamales. We also host quarterly family events with food, recreation, and community-building.
